How much does it cost to run? There is nothing in their blog on energy return on energy invested (EROEI). To say it could pay for itself in five years without saying if it is even capable of making more energy than it consumes is being deliberately disingenuous. “Even if you’re a home user, I’d imagine that the system could pay for itself in 5 years time if you’re a heavy driver and your family uses several automobiles.”

How much energy does this “mini-refinery” consume? How much does it cost to run?

There is nothing in their blog on energy return on energy invested (EROEI). To say it could pay for itself in five years without saying if it is even capable of making more energy than it consumes is being deliberately disingenuous.
