Biodiesel is going the way of ethanol. No market, costs more than diesel, Europeans throughout US biodiesel because of quality standards. That is why US biodiesel producers were dumping biodiesel in Europe below their cost. The US has to stop subsidizing the biodiesel industry. The biodiesel tax credit is not being renewed and 90% of the industry is shut down. It was a flawed plan by the farmers. You cannot have a business model based on a tax credit. Biodiesel plants were not making any money when they had the tax credit. Biodiesel was a waste of taxpayer money. Not to worry. Biodiesel is going the way of ethanol.
