It seems like a company with a nice Hispanic name like Valero would have a really good relationship with our neighbors South of the border. I wonder if they are involved in getting Ethanol and Biodiesel from jatropha plantations that are springing up in Mexico. It seems like a win win situation. We get cheap Ethanol and Biodiesel. Greenie Weenies get big reduction in carbon emissions. Mexico gets to plant another crop that makes lots of money instead of poppies even on wasteland. Their Economy gets a big boost. Global Warming subsides; Al Gore and Barack Obama are happy. I really think that this is something that Obama and Valero ought to be looking into.
