Keep up the good work! I cannot believe that they let this expire.
President Obama needs to realize that america cannot pause on vital issues just because he has a paticular issue to address AKA (health care). They do not realize all the key players in the biofuel industry that have been waiting for this to get settled. Not only the plants and there employees, but those in the transportation industry. We are a small trucking company that had just got rolling and got the rug pulled out from under us.President Obama says he wants to create more green jobs yet he lets the ones we already have set idle for almost the past three months. Let's continue to to fight for a long term extension and save american jobs by americans for americans.GOD BLESS!!!!

[...] “Biodiesel is a great fuel. It’s a great success story,” said Rob Joslin, the President of the American Soybean Association when I asked him during an interview (see below for audio) why biodiesel is so important to our country. While the biodiesel has had great success, it is currently facing a challenge – the $1 per gallon tax credit expired at the end of 2009 and has yet to be extended, although it is close.
It’s ridiculous that this industry cannot stand on its own and must rely upon a government handout/carve-out/subsidy/bail-out/redistribution of wealth to even come close to solvency – a freak’n dollar a gallon! Taxpayers keep funding these special-interest boon-doggles…..what a great country!

We'll have to play the "wait and see" game as to how this plays out. Trying to save an industry one year at a time is ridiculous.
