Enough, already. Corn-based ethanol doesn't help the environment and it presents real operability issues in higher percentages. It's all a political bribe to farm states. With commodity prices at record highs, let's bury this foolishness for good.

First its the catalytic converters, next it is the outdoor small engines, and then its the marine outboard motors. How many holes are we going to test to see if the peg fits. There are thousands of outdoor engines and outboard motors out there. Are we going to test all of them??? E15 should just be allowed to be produced with adviced on its used, be it cars made after 2001 or later. Once E15 is accepted as a cheaper and cleaner fuel as in Brazil these small outdoor engines and marine outboard motors manufacturers will have to make sure it is higher ethanol compatible if they want to keep their market share.

This man needs to go work in a small engine repair shop for a while. He will then learn first hand the detrimental effect E10 fuel is already having on outdoor power equipment engines and components. Adopting E15 will create singificantly more problems with outdoor power equipment and, if he has't noticed, the number of repair shops continues to decline.

The production of ethanol consumes more engery than it creates and is environmentaly damaging. His opinion is too obviously biased to be of any value whatsoever.
