The demise that is plaguing the biodiesel industry is very troubling that has fallen on deaf ears of our Congress. Our President and Congress are only giving "lip services" supporting any commitment the US economy needs to wean itself from imported oil. We have the technology to domestically produce the energy needed to become energy independant but needs a commitment from this President and Congress in the form of tax credits and targeted stimulus funding to encourage investment and mitigate the risk renewable energy entrepreneurs require to fully commit the capital necessary to encourage investment. I cannot find suitable employment in the biodiesel or any renewable energy industry because of the games This President and our Congress plays in this arena. This President must encourage and this Congress needs to reenact the tax incentive and stand up for something the Americam people need and demand.
