Oh I forgot, AAA never said a thing in South Dakota this spring, when retailers we selling 85 and lower grade octane about vehicle warranties, which the manufacturers own manual says anything below 87 octane is a problem. Glad they are so consistently inconsistent!! Verry loose with the facts.

I have been AAA member for 45 years, but this takes the cake. I am sure hoping they thought about what they said, because I assume they will lose membership with the loose lips sink ships mentality.

The cryers and the whiners. Where are the leaders? No one who might have greater influence (than this comment will likely muster) seems to be siezing the critical moment and stopping to ask the question, "Why is AAA doing this?" Survey shmurvey! AAA provides insurance policies. A claim (i.e. service call, towing) costs them money albeit usually indirectly. Nonetheless, a dramtic rise in claims is not good for business. Why does AAA have this unsubstantiated fear? An effective response may be to ask the question and educate those at AAA in a manner to allay thier concerns and draw an about-face. Let's not simply assume and chalk it all up to a supposed one-way trip into oil politics.

btw, grammatical editing of this release as those previous is in order. My services are available.
