Domestic Fuel is owned and published by ZimmComm New Media, LLC. The company is located in Holts Summit, MO, right across the river from Jefferson City.

ZimmComm is a “new media” company that specializes in blogging, podcasting and managing RSS feeds for the agricultural industry. The company also operates a customized news release production and distribution business called AgNewsWire which features their patented Talking News Releases. AgNewsWire distributes news releases to over 800 agricultural journalists.

Chuck & Cindy are the writers for Domestic Fuel. This husband and wife reporting team have covered all facets of agribusiness for over 20 years. They’ve followed the development of domestic fuels like ethanol and biodiesel since so much of the work has been funded by various agricultural organizations with whom they’ve worked throughout their career. Chuck & Cindy have direct contact with people at all levels of the domestic fuel chain. This includes commodity growers, plant developers, researchers and the people who are marketing the products and working to reduce our dependence on foreign oil while helping producers and consumers “domestically.”

Chuck & Cindy are award winning agricultural journalists having received awards for their work from the Missouri Soybean Association, Illinois Soybean Association, Illinois Corn Growers Association and Florida Farm Bureau Federation. Cindy is also a past winner of the “Oscar in Agriculture” award, which is the highest honor a farm reporter can receive!

Domestic Fuel is providing a comprehensive source of news about the domestic fuel industry This site is intended to provide consumers with interesting and useful information about the primary domestic fuel alternatives. The news featured here will include information on how these fuel options are developing and being used internationally.
